Description

Ulutek was established in 2005 on total are of 471.230 m2  in Uludag University Gorukle Campus as the 20th Technopark in Turkey.

As a public-private partnership ULUTEK Technology Development Zone (TDZ) Incorporated Company aims to stimulate innovation, initiatives and entrepreneurship with its shareholders as Uludağ University, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Uludağ Exporters’ Association in Bursa, Turkey. ULUTEK encourages firms for cross-border innovation projects for SMEs with sustainable collaboration in the EU countries to support new technology-based firms maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. The primary objective of ULUTEK is to produce technological scientific knowledge to encourage collaboration among the TDZs, universities, research institutions and production or manufacturing industries and enhance international competitiveness and export abilities of the industry of the country. ULUTEK sets out to promote innovation through product and manufacturing methods; raise the quality and the standards of products; decrease manufacturing costs and expenditures through increasing the design quality and efficiency and commercialize the know-how and the technology to develop advanced technology for new job and investment opportunities to reach objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy.

ULUTEK houses 120 SMEs operating in the sectors dealing with software development,nautomotive, machinery, metal, defence industry, electronics, robotic systems, energy and environment. The companies operating at ULUTEK employ over 900 R&D Related professionals.
